Here, No hesitation. Feel our hearts beat as one. Sunset light caressing your face. Burnished gold in our eyes. Touch the breeze. Skyline with the perfect halo. Leave your past and let go, Drunk in summer’s warm embrace, Run away with me. Leave all anxiety, Unspoken fear on your lips. I’m here by your side, intoxicating. Headfirst into the unknown, With just a kiss. Look to the horizon, Drive away into the truth. Together we’ll be a couple of fools. All just adventure and chance, For me and you. Never know What we’ll find. Run with me, Even just for tonight.

lie awake through the night wonder how you are  and in my dreams break the seams tearing us apart  I’m holding on way too long and I don't know why  but you know me I go quiet I don't like to lie  oh am I coming through can you hear me now  oh can you feel it to tell me what to do, I said now  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  when we touch  drive home through the night just to get away  but every road leads to you don't know what to say  tell me now does it feel like your falling  feel your touch on my back hear you calling  oh am I coming through can you hear me now  oh can you feel it to tell me what to do, I said now  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  when we touch  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  don't say its do much  maybe I need some time to breathe  cos lately all I’ve done is tearing at the seams  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  when we touch  hearts on, hearts on fire  hearts on, hearts on fire  when we touch

A moment shared, Dangerous at best. Can’t let you be A chance that I’ll regret. Primal and uncontrolled, No one will ever know. Sprint from reality, So we never come down. Surging like wildfire, Give in to your desires. Nothing off limits tonight, Relentless, take me now. Morality, Simply in our minds. Just breathe and leap, Leave that world behind. No one will ever see, Let go of all beliefs. Thinking of nothing else, Feel our hunger collide. My heat upon your skin, Unleash the need within. Feeling so unrestrained, We surrender for tonight. Make me your slave, right behind their backs. To never sin, what kind of life is that?
4.
So let's talk about our luck We came here out of destiny We've been spinning and left stuck Drowning in out black sea And we hope for sunrise But our dreams are dressed as enemies It's time to open my eyes So start a little prayer for me One by one, we are falling apart Day by day, I go back to the start Our last chance survival in a brand new start (To feed a hungry heart) So let's talk about my land It holds me tight so tearfully We've been buried in the sand We've been drowning in a dead man's greed But you're the wise one In a fantasy land that set you free If you want to bury me, you'll be at karma's grave Numb, too young to speak Will they go too far? From this burning heat Let's learn to retreat A brand new start
5.
Running on empty When you don’t know how many miles you have left to go Running on empty you know you can make it But you just have to take it slow Running on empty Steady hands take the wheel and drive cause we’re almost home Running on empty If it’s ten thousand miles You don’t have to do it alone Setting your heart free Let it all go Let it echo out through the night Say goodbye to these old streets Yea, there’s nothing left for you To leave behind. Running on empty Steady hands take the wheel and drive cause we’re almost home Running on empty If it’s ten thousand miles You don’t have to do it alone Heartache and heartbreak They’re holding you down And you’re Lost in the same place But don’t want to be found When you’re running on empty you’re running to something When all you’ve got Is the breath to say a prayer When you’re running on nothing But all you need is enough To get out of here (GV) Hey! Running on empty (Harmony) Running on empty Running on empty ||: Running on empty Steady hands take the wheel and drive cause we’re almost home Running on empty If it’s ten thousand miles You don’t have to do it alone Running on empty Steady hands take the wheel cause we’re almost home Yea we’re almost home Almost home Almost home No you’re not alone
6.
Palm trees and the summer breeze We were meant to be, just you and me Sunsets on the boulevard took a step too far Beyond the stars And I can't, get you out of my mind No matter how hard I try Late nights walking on the beach We were hand in hand, with our feet in the sand Heartbreaks seeing neon signs flashing in my eyes There was no goodbye And I can't, get you out of my mind No matter how hard I try Flashbacks Of hopeful hearts and finding meaning Flashbacks Of careless days and sunshine dreaming It was a simpler time when it was just you and I Now I'm left with...now I'm left with Flashbacks Flashbacks Of hopeful hearts and finding meaning Flashbacks Of careless days and sunshine dreaming It was a simpler time when it was just you and I Now I'm left with...now I'm left with Flashbacks

Summer days were golden. Weeks were full of nothing but fantasy, Chocolate cake and video games. Our future promised possibilities. Can we just go back to a bygone year, those carefree times? Forget what we know, forget hardship, When life was kind. Drawing unknown worlds, pure creations, Straight from our minds. Even if you break, I won’t let it take us down, you and I. Now we’ve split apart, Nothing seems to be completely fair. Hope you know no one meant you harm, Just remember me and all of us who care.

Holes in our jean Among the lights Electric Ave is a lonely place It makes us feel alive I know that we can't stay here I don't wanna disappear We can drive off into the night And leave these streets behind You're the rain, I found down on 4th Street It's time to take the C-Train home Lost souls in a broken city Lost souls, at least I'm not alone Cast light on shadows on Elbow Drive Past the river that calls out in the night Take me down to the Reservoir You're the storm that I have come here for Drive to the lake Just to get away The tide tonight it pulls us under It makes us feel alive I know that we can't stay here I don't wanna disappear We can drive off into the night And leave these streets behind You're the rain, I found down on 4th Street It's time to take the C-Train home Lost souls in a broken city Lost souls, at least I'm not alone Cast light on shadows on Elbow Drive Past the river that calls out in the night Take me down to the Reservoir You're the storm that I have come here for

Rain falls down on this simple town Down the window into my room Thousands of people all around All I wanna see is you Over the mountains across the sky To a beach with waves somewhere Azure eyes and a deep sunrise I'd go with you anywhere Where are you tonight This bed feels like a stone I want you here with me When will you come home? And you're dancing, under neon skies I need you, you are my light You are my light When will you come home? When will you come home? Summer dies and swells they rise My soul has nowhere to go The leaves turn gold the night get cold This town is a blanket of snow Keep me warm through the storm Come back to this place By firelight we'll spend these nights Our love can fill this space

Not even sure how we got here, You light a cigarette. Glad you agreed to have one drink. Fell too hard, too fast, Never should have been in love. Guess this gives us time to think. Cast all aside, we can be bold and fools again. Even though we’re numb and jaded, Let’s pretend. Nights spent with friends, raising fresh hell, Running through parking lots. Invincible in our high tops. And at the drive-through, Never touching a bite, Throwing around everything we’d got. Cast all aside, revel in youth, we’ve still got spirit. Gotta just laugh hard at how it all went down. Raise up your glass, shall we toast to us again? Think of those days, even though we’re numb and jaded, Let’s pretend. Romantically we failed, Such is this weird life. We’ve moved on from hurt, Nostalgia shines in our eyes. Just so you know, if it matters, That crooked tooth you hate, I saw a grin with a jaunty wave. Were you mad at me, or just mad at yourself? Glad we stayed friends, Though it sucks to behave.

Drive boy dog boy Dirty numb angel boy In the doorway boy She was a lipstick boy She was a beautiful boy And tears boy And all in your innerspace boy You had hands girl boy and steel boy You had chemicals boy I've grown so close to you Boy and you just groan boy She said comeover comeover She smiled at you boy Let your feelings slip boy But never your mask boy Random blonde bio high density rhythm Blonde boy blonde country blonde high density You are my drug boy You're real boy Speak to me and boy dog Dirty numb cracking boy You get wet boy Big big time boy Acid bear boy Babes and babes and babes and babes and babes And remembering nothing boy You like my tin horn boy and get Wet like an angel Derail You got a velvet mouth You're so succulent and beautiful Shimmering and dirty Wonderful and hot times On your telephone line And god and everything On your telephone And in walk an angel

about

Have you ever lost love? Have you ever felt alone? Have you ever felt as though you were spinning like fire among the stars? Have you ever been so happy you could burst into a billion colours? Hearts On Fire (LP 2019) is Moonrunner83's third album. It tries to capture those feelings. The feeling of living in an isolated moonlit city on the edge world – a million people being lonely together. The feeling of hope. The feeling of ethereal love. The feeling of fading memories and distant dreams. The feeling of finding yourself. It is lush, spacious, and full of vibe. It has depth and analog warmth. It is the sound of our lost and unsung generation. And it was made for you...and every dreaming, starry-eyed soul out there.

Will you take this journey with us?
