exsurgo This is the synthwave vibe I'm looking for. Nice to support a Canuck. 😉 Favorite track: Troubled Eyes.

Stefan Dorna I'm really loving every track on this album. Favorite track: A Kiss In The Night.
Death By Neon

Death By Neon At first I've been attracted by the dreamy cover artwork, then the artist name that really speak to me as much as sci-fi movies from my childhood.
But when I've first attempt to have a listen I've really be amazed by how great was the first and the second songs of the album, Spires and Datsun Sundown respectively. So dreamy solid synth pop in the pure tradition of the eighties late summer nights cinematic songs.
The next day I've managed to listen to the complete album, including the instrumentals burn onto the same CD-R.
And that's about it, the heavy Mike-Tyson-like punch in my brain that was the third and the fourth tracks are totally mind-blowing! Done in a different tone and mood than previous ones and with a deepest love for dreamwave synth pop and particularly Timecop1983.

If you are a Timecop1983 lover, or simply a dreamwave and/or synth pop lover, please do a favor to yourself and take a listen to the following cues: 3, 4, 5 and 8. You just can't be disappointed, this is A-Grade gold stuff that for sure deserve to be a future major artist of the synth pop scene in my humble opinion!

And instead of Timecop1983, Chad Williamson (as Moonrunner83) is doing anything alone! Music composition and performing, most of the lyrics, vocals on each songs, mixing and editing and even the beautiful cover artwork!

This is seriously adictive retro stuff and Moonrunner83 deserve to be well more recognized and listened!

Keep up the good work, I really can't wait for the next album! Favorite track: A Kiss In The Night.

  • Limited Edition Super Ferro Cassette
    Cassette + Digital Album

Everyone wants cassettes these days. I've done a limited run of midnight blue Super Ferric cassettes for Datsun Sundown. Treat yourself to beautiful custom artwork by me, lush analog synths, outstanding vocals, and top notch production. These tapes are real-time duped on Analogue Media Super Ferro tapes. These are great tapes with a low noise floor, high output level, and a sweet warm sound. It is really a lot more pleasing to listen to than the Saehan tape which is still on the market. Can we meet downtown? At the spot where sun goes down When there's no one around Maybe you could bring me back to the ground And you know you've got a place in my heart And the city spires on fire, on fire And it's like I'm walking alone in the dark And the city's on fire, on fire, on fire Can we meet after dark? I know the place, can we meet at Millennium Park Where it's just me and you I dunno but I hope that this feeling is true And you know you've got a place in my heart And the city spires on fire, on fire And it's like I'm walking alone in the dark And the city's on fire, on fire, on fire And you know you've got a place in my heart And the city spires on fire, on fire And you like to take me right back to the start And the city's on fire, on fire, on fire And you know you've got a place in my heart And the city spires on fire, on fire And it's like I'm walking alone in the dark And the city's on fire, on fire, on fire

A thousand faces in the rain Driving down 17th with you Smoke rises and the sun goes down City's empty and nothing makes a sound Wet tires hit the road Driving streets that I have never known Pack up and leave tonight We'll be gone by the morning light Headlights, jet black Never look back Headlights, jet back Never look back A thousand faces in the rain A thousand faces and none of them have names We've been here for so long Get us out so we can say so long Cruising down the avenue The lights, the sights, the thoughts of you Cruising down the avenue Under the moon, I can leave with you Headlights, jet black Never look back Headlights, jet back Never look back There's a storm outside Thunder clap shatters the night sky All the towers made of steel Hiding love that I can not reveal Headlights, jet black Never look back Headlights, jet back Never look back

I haven't seen you in some time You are always on my mind I heard you moved out of town You heard I'm hiding underground When the city sleeps, I am awake How much more can I take? In a room full of machines Powered by my waking dreams You're the one with troubled eyes You're the storm in my skies On the train, headphones on Listen to the same old songs Passing shadows in the rain Every night I feel the same You're the one with troubled eyes You're the storm in my skies

Take the same damn steps everyday Going in circles in every which way Stand in the moonlight Everything's so far away She walks in and I see her face Smoke hangs low and she looks out of place Thinking to myself, "I never seen her before" Lights against the night sky Souls forever entwined I don't even know her name Kissing her in the pouring rain She takes a drink and my breath away She grabs her coat and she starts to say "A kiss in the night and everything can change" She walks out in her denim jeans Everything is not what it seems Is she real or is she just a dream? Lights against the night sky Souls forever entwined I don't even know her name Kissing her in the pouring rain

Bathed in gold Chase the cold You lit my fire And set my soul free A blue tattoo And a light in your eye Long blond hair And a lightning strike Would you stay here? Would you stay here for a while? Would you stay here? Would you stay here for a while? Underneath Bed sheet Our denim jeans Laid out on the floor A blue tattoo And a light in your eye Long blond hair And a lightning strike Would you stay here? Would you stay here for a while? Would you stay here? Would you stay here for a while? Would you stay here? Would you stay here for a while?

By Your Side 04:03
Take the last train home Walk all alone in the rain Don't let the dream fade I hope to see you again I've been so high For most of my life Out on the north shore Evermore The stars fall down from the sky Lightning strikes all the time I see the storm in your eyes I always be by your side Drive through the backstreets Under all the neon signs Smoke and mirrors and moonlight Our enemy is time The city skyline Up on the hill at night It feels like falling... The stars fall down from the sky Lightning strikes all the time I see the storm in your eyes I always be by your side
